:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Loni Ben-Zvi -- This is actually the Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass : I've never written a review of anything in my life, but I was so surprised by what I received that I simply could not help myself. I went to crack open some William Blake today to do my homework for my class on British Romantics, and was shocked to find that this is not actually Songs of Innocence by William Blake, but rather The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass with the cover of Songs of Innocence. While I would happily give The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass 5 stars for being a great read, I couldn't tell you what I would give Songs of Innocence (you know, the book I ordered) because I am unable to read it. As hilarious as this mistake is, I give this book only 1 star because I can't do the reading on Blake for my class. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2019 )

I like the way they are bound and think they are a great little edition to my ever expanding library. Also, this is a long-time favourite of mine from Blake. If you don't own this at all, start here. Blake is hard because his mind travels in connections that reach far into his own deep psyche. Even after 300 years, Blake is representative of no one but William Blake. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from EmEnz -- What a resource... : These classic poems have given me pleasure ever since I first encountered them as a teenager in high school. How amazing to have them at my fingertips in Kindle edition. I can now savor them anew while waiting for the bus or traveling in the train. Each poem is a tiny gem, and everyone will probably have their own personal favorite. I am grateful that the Blake illustrated book is reproduced here, but have to admit that the Kindle format and lack of colour doesn't do the original justice. Dowden -- Always A Favourite : As I think most people are aware by now, you put a review on for one particular edition of a book, only to find that it has automatically been cross posted to other editions. This review is thus for the Endymion Press edition. Alas there is no artwork that William Blake originally wrote his poems in, but to be honest on a standard kindle e-reader it probably wouldn’t have come up that well, and you could have had trouble reading the poetry. There is a fully active table of contents here, which thus does make it easy to navigate your way around this book, especially if you have certain favourites. However, between pages 22 and 23, there is a mini section about the iPhone SE that I definitely did not expect. Apparently William Blake was way ahead of his time, as it is very detailed, but completely pointless as I need this book for my English Literature A2 course.
